Matthias is a former member of the Executive Committee and Director of Projects & Technology at Royal Dutch Shell. His previous roles include Executive Vice President of Development & Technology, Managing Director of Sll Deepwater Services, and Director of Petroleum Development Oman. Matthias holds a Doctorate in Earth Sciences from the University of Basel, is an Honorary Professor of the China University of Petroleum, and an industry advisor for the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Mark is the former Chief Marketing Officer at GE Energy responsible for $45 billion in business including thermal & renewable power generation; oil & gas exploration, development & transport; electric transmission & distribution; and industrial controls. Mark holds a BSc Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Michael has extensive expertise in executive management, private equity and finance in the natural resource and energy sectors. He was a longstanding executive at Westcoast Energy (a natural gas company acquired by Duke Energy in 2002) where he served as Chairman and CEO from 1992 to 2002, as Chief Financial Officer from 1987 to 1989, and as a corporate development executive from 1982 to 1987. Currently Michael serves as the Director and Founder of Dornoch Capital and is a Director on multiple boards including Marathon Oil and Spectra Energy Corporation.
John is the former Vice President, Technology and Development at Teck Resources. John left Teck in 2012 to form PetraScience Consultants Inc., providing exploration and technology services to the mining industry. He is currently the Wold Professor in Environmental Balance for Human Sustainability at Cornell University.

Peter is a 30-year Executive Business Strategist with expertise in growth and innovation, natural resources and energy, software, technology commercialization and corporate venture capital. Peter’s former senior leadership roles include GE and Computer Associates; he is also a former startup CEO and President. He is currently a senior fellow at the Kellogg Innovation Network and a Partner at Clareo.
