Based in the Chrysalix Vancouver office, Greg is responsible for selected portfolio company investments, portfolio strategic and governance advisory and Chrysalix operations management. Previously Greg served as the CEO of AoFrio, a New Zealand public company and leading developer of IoT hardware and data solutions for global food and beverage brands. Before AoFrio, Greg held the role of Vice President, Industrial and Greentech Business Unit at global manufacturing services company, Celestica. At Celestica, his team delivered impressive growth results, including leading the acquisition of a large semiconductor capital equipment business. His governance and advisory experience includes public market investor relations, capital raising, corporate restructuring, board and founder succession and risk oversight. He currently serves as a Director with Chrysalix portfolio company HaiLa and is a Board Observer with DTE, Liminal, Q5D and Helmee. Greg also sits on the board of listed company AoFrio, where he chairs the Risk committee. He is a member of the Economic Advisory Committee for the City of Richmond, British Columbia, and is a member of the policy advisory committee for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. Greg has more than 30 years’ experience in general management, technical, operations and sales roles across many industries; including manufacturing services, industrial equipment, cleantech, telecoms, enterprise computing, IoT and cloud services. Greg started his career in the New Zealand Army where he gained his education in telecommunications and electronics. Greg holds an MBA from Napier University, Edinburgh and the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D designation.
